The following 5 Bible principles are 5 truths that are at the center of living Christ-Centered lives. They are written in the Bible and it is written that "all scripture is used for inspiration," (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
These principles are not to be taken in isolation but rather considered as building blocks in the foundation of your faith. It is written, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me," (John 10:27).
Exodus 20 (NKJV) - "And God spoke all these words, saying: 'I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage."
1. You hall have no other gods before Me. (Exodus 20:3).
2. You shall have not make for yourself a carved image ("idol"). (Exodus 20:4-6)
3. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain. (Exodus 20:7).
4. Remeber the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. (Exodus 20:8-11)
5. Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you. (Exodus 20:12)
6. You shall not murder. (Exodus 20:13)
7. You shall not commit adultery. (Exodus 20:14)
8. You shall not steal. (Exodus 20:15)
9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. (Exodus 20:16)
10. You shall not covet your neighbor's house, wife, belongings. (Exodus 20:17)
